Wine Services adapts its Wine Services indicator © to the Médoc wines, in order to analyse the visibility of 1855 classified growth and major crus bourgeois in restaurants worldwide.

Wine Services analyzed more than 1,000 wine lists in 11 marketsBelgium, London, UK (outside London), Switzerland, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.

This analysis is made possible by Wine Services unique capacity to collect precise and unbiased market data.

The Wine Services indicator © gathers the information collected to provide a simple and clear analysis of the on-premise visibility of these wines.

Each wine was ranked against 5 criteria:

  • Number of restaurants
  • Presence in Key High-Image restaurants
  • Number of markets where the wine is distributed
  • Average number of unique products per restaurant
  • Average wine list price

Following the new classification of Saint Emilion, Wine Services releases its own ranking according to the visibility of wines in the best restaurants worldwide (Wine Services indicator©).
